» Description

Ethernet gateway with Power-over-Ethernet that bridges standard networks to Nessum-Wire infrastructure. Available as PD (powered device) and PSE (power sourcing equipment) units in compact DIN rail housings. Supports up to 90W PoE++ power distribution over any pair of wires, enabling simple retrofitting of existing installations without new cabling.

  • 2Wire to Ethernet gateway in a compact housing for Ethernet and power via 2 wire pairs.
  • Can be combined with 2WIRE Converter DIN in any fashion
  • Transmits data according to the Nessum Wire (IEEE1901) standard for robust transmission over distances of up to 1000m and at up to 100 Mbits/s
  • Bus-capable for up to 128 nodes on the same 2Wire line
  • Data is encrypted with AES-128bit; pairing button for easy negotiation of a secret password
  • Uses any (voltage free) cabling
  • 2-wire cabling is polarity-free
  • Connected devices are powered with up to 90W Power-over-Ethernet (PoE++)
  • Power supply via the same pair of wires for all connected 2Wire devices
  • PD box: Operation on a PoE switch/injector and transfer of power to the 2Wire line
  • PSE box: Remote Ethernet port with PoE+
  • LEDs for easy status checking: 2Wire Power and Link and Ethernet Link/Act
  • Compact plastic housing suitable for wall-mounting or free-standing installation
