AIB-NVAO AI Box PC from Avalue for Atonomous Machine Intelligence
The new embedded AI industrial computer AIB-NVAO was specially developed by Avalue for autonomous machine intelligence. It integrates state-of-the-art AI computing functions, extensive expansion interfaces and an industrial-grade service life. It is suitable for applications in the automotive, intelligent logistics, manufacturing and agriculture sectors.
With the NVIDIA AGX Orin module, the AIB-NVAO delivers a computing power of 275 TOPS (INT8), which is an 8-fold improvement over its predecessor. This high computing power supports high-speed interfaces for multiple sensors and enables the execution of complex AI computing tasks. The user can choose between a 32GB 200 TOPS or a 64GB 275 TOPS version. These capacities are suitable for real-time analysis of complex data and ensure the safe and smooth operation of autonomous vehicles or machines.
The AIB-NVAO AI box PC has 8 GMSL2 channels, 5 CAN FD (Controller Area Network) interfaces and supports 4K data transmission, enabling high-quality image data acquisition. It has 32 GB or 64 GB Jetson AGX Orin LPDDR5 memory and 64 GB eMMC 5.1 memory. To fulfil flexible expansion requirements, the AIB-NVAO offers 1 x HDMI 2.0, 4 x Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, 2 x USB3.0, 6 x RS232/RS485/Debug interfaces, 1 x Mini PCIe slot for WIFI/4G, 1 x M.2 M key 2280 (2280, PCIe x4) and 1 x Nano SIM slot. The system can be expanded according to specific application requirements and integrate various sensors and peripherals. It is therefore ideal for applications such as ADAS, remote control, AMR or autonomous vehicles.
The AIB-NVAO is designed for use in extreme conditions and has a robust industrial design, allowing it to operate in an operating temperature range of -25 °C to +70 °C. The operating voltage range is 9 - 36 volts DC. The mechanical dimensions are (276 x 214 x 71) mm. The Box PC supports Ubuntu Jetpack (version 5.0 and higher) and has CE and FCC Class B certifications, which ensures its stability, reliability and durability for industrial applications.

The Medical PC HID-2340 has a variety of I/O ports such as COM, 2 x LAN, USB 2.0, 3 USB 3.0, USB Type C as well as M.2 Key B 3042/3052/2280, M.2 Key E for WIFI and M.2 Key M for SATA signals, USB and PCIe. Transparent OLED kiosk solution (30" and 55'') from Faytech
The OLED kiosk solution from Faytech with the ultra-flat and semi-transparent (30" and 55") touchscreen is characterised by a thin, clear and sharp display. This makes it possible to transform any glass surface into an interactive touch display. It is completely transparent when the display is switched off. It displays information in colour at a resolution of 4K or Full HD when it is switched on. A capacitive 10-finger multi-touch technology is integrated.
It is suitable for applications in self-ordering kiosk technology such as quick service and fast-casual restaurants. Other applications include any transparent or reflective surfaces such as fridges, where it is possible to switch between transparent front and display. Information can be added to the reflected image in a mirror. The transparent part of a machine can also be used as an HMI (Human Machine Interface) with the touchscreen from Faytech.
New Wayon TO-LL Trench Mosfets
Wayon Electronics Ltd. and its distribution partner TRS-STAR are introducing their new high current Trench Mosfet family in the TO-LL package. Compared with reference designs using standard TO-263/D2PAK solutions this package is offering a 30% footprint reduction and a height reduction by 50% (package dimensions 9.9 x 11.7 x 2.3mm). This makes a solution with a Wayon TO-LL package perfectly suited for designs requesting high current capability together with a very compact form factor.
The sophisticated package concept is offering a creepage distance of 2.7mm for additional design safety and a separate signal-source pin to ensure reliable switching at high frequencies.
The Wayon TO-LL product family is starting with a low voltage range from 20V/0.85mΩtyp reaching with steps from medium voltage up to 200V/8mΩtyp including some special types with super current capability of up to 300A with a RDS(on) well below 1mΩ
The device performance is targeting application like high power tools, battery management systems, DC-DC converters, electric vehicle systems and many more. Because of Wayon´s capability and expertise as a Mosfet manufacturer more types are already on the roadmap and will be released soon.
New housing solution TO-LL from UTC
UTC Ltd. distribution partner of TRS-STAR GmbH is introducing a new Mosfet/IGBT package solution for high power designs called TO-LL (TO-Leadless, HSOF-8). The housing is ideally suited for high density, high current application.
With its small size and low height (9.9 x 11.7 x 2.3 mm) and a drain-source creeping distance of 2.7 mm the package is ideally suited for replacing power-limited D2PAK/D2PAK-7 solutions or reducing component count in discrete designs for improved overall reliability. Further advantage is given by the ability for designing very compact high current circuitry which leads to less parasitic effects and EMI problems especially at application working at higher frequencies.
For optimized gate drive the package has a separate signal-source pin for reducing inductive effects at medium or higher switching frequencies ensuring safe switching and good switching performance.
The UTC TOLL-8B-Family is initiated with two high voltage Mosfet with 600V/130mOhm and 400V/180mOhm. Both transistors are fast switching types, have a low FOM (Figure of Merit) and high rugged avalanche characteristics.
Due to UTC´s broad portfolio of low and high voltage Mosfet chips and their high flexibility as a design and manufacturing company more part family members in different performance classes will be follow soon. Especially Trench Mosfet in the voltage range up to 80V with high current capability and low RDS(ON) will be released soon and can be a 1:1 drop-in replacement for existing solutions from established manufacturers. Depending on the customer demands UTC is also open for customized solutions.
TouchNetix presents the aXiom Experience Box
TouchNetix specialises in the design and manufacture of touch-sensitive technologies. The UK company offers a wide range of products including capacitive touch screens, touch sensitive sensors, touch controller ICs and related technologies. Customers are generated from the automotive, aerospace, medical and consumer electronics industries.
TouchNetix's force sensing technology integrated in aXiom is mainly used in the automotive and industrial markets. It provides accurate and reliable measurements of force on a surface such as a touch screen from 0.1 N (10 g) to 20 N (2000 g). The aXiom technology also offers special multi-force position detection up to a spatial distance of 1.5 cm. Due to the high sensitivity and high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of the aXiom chip, even weak force signals are precisely detected. The aXiom technology accurately detects the presence or position of a user's finger over the touchscreen or touch surface, enabling non-contact user interfaces.
Touchmonitors, with integrated aXiom technology, can use force-sensing to verify certain operating steps. This means that additional pressure is required, avoiding inaccurate touch instructions caused by a slipped finger in a moving vehicle, for example. By combining multi-force technology with parallel multi-touch measurements, the aXiom HMI chips provide safety-enhancing systemic redundancy from two separate sensor measurement systems.
TouchNetix's patented force-sensing technology is mechanically easy to integrate because it uses low-cost standard components as well as materials suitable for the automotive industry. The technology compensates for all mechanical stack tolerances, providing increased mechanical and manufacturing reliability. All aXiom chips are qualified to AEC-Q100.
With the aXiom Experience Box, TouchNetix now offers its customers easy access to aXiom functions. The portable and lightweight solution with a size of 4.1 inches implements force sensing, touch, hover and proximity. Touchpads and smart surfaces can also be built and demonstrated. The 3D-printed solution consists of a PCB diamond touch sensor with integrated touch sensor tracks and associated electronics. In addition, customers can use the device with TouchNetix's TouchHub2 software.

New 1500V High Voltage Mosfet from WAYON Electronics Ltd.
WAYON Electronics Ltd. partner of TRS-STAR GmbH and manufacturer of discrete Semiconductors, ICs and circuit protection elements is presenting a new family of robust VDMOS-based 1500V Mosfet for application requesting high power density and high efficiency.
The WMx4N150D1 is offering a typical RDS(ON) of 5.5Ohm @VGS=10V and an ultra-low gate charge for highspeed switching and less driving power demand.
The devices are 100% avalanche tested and available in industrial-standard THT housings like TO-220, TO-247 and fully isolated TO-3PF with enlarged creepage distance path of 5.4mm typ. The part family is RoHS compliant as well as halogen free.
Main target applications are SMPS, Auxiliary circuits, chargers and DC-DC converters.
New WAYON high-speed CAN-BUS Transceiver WJ1040 and WJ1050
WAYON Electronics Co. Ltd., distribution partner of TRS-STAR GmbH and manufacturer of power semiconductors, circuit protection elements and ICs is announcing its two new high-speed CAN transceiver ICs named WJ1040 and WJ1050.
The powerful interface IC family is fully ISO 11898 compatible and capable of transmitting and receiving data rates of up to 1Mbps. The DC-Bus lines withstanding input voltages of -27V to +40V along with electrostatic discharge voltages of ±6kV HBM.
The transceivers have a very low energy consumption, high EMC immunity and are protected against short circuit and thermal overload.
The WJ1040 and WJ1050 are available in a standard lead- and halogen-free SOIC-8 package and can be a possible pin-compatible replacement with similar functionality to existing solutions from other well-known mainstream brands in the market. Target Application are e.g. automotive, industrial sensors, automation and process control as well as communication and network technology.
New 60W MPE-J060 Open Frame Power Supplies from Magic Power
TRS-STAR is introducing the new 60W Open-Frame power supply series MPE-J060 from Magic Power Technology GmbH.
This series is targeting applications working under high ambient temperatures and having increased requirements in terms of reliability and service life such as special home automation solutions, smart home, embedded and compact small devices and systems for industrial and consumer.
The output power of the Magic Power MPE-J060 is 50W up to an ambient temperature of +50°C. According to its derating factor of 0.5 it can be used up to +80°C without fan operation.
All power supplies of these series have a wide input voltage range of 85-264 VAC; available output voltages are 5V/ 12V/ 24V and 48V with optional customized voltages.
The Magic Power MPE-J060 has an overall efficiency of 92% and can be driven with a no-load power of less than 0.2W. The compact devices are measuring 3" x 2" with a height of only 1" (76.2 x 50.8 x 25 mm).
The devices are overload, overcurrent and overvoltage protected meeting the savety standards EN/ IEC/ UL 62368-1 for audio-, video-, IT- and telecommunications. The EMC conformity is guaranteed by the EN55032 (radiation) and EN61000-3-2/ EN61000-3-3 (harmonics).
The new 30W Open-Frame Power Supply family MPE-J030
TRS-STAR and its partner Magic Power Technology GmbH is presenting a new 30W power supply family for compact end application in critical thermal environments. The Magic Power MPE-J030 delivers 30W output power up to an ambient temperature of TA = +50°C and can be operated up to TA = +70°C with 15W output power without additional cooling efforts.
The power supplies have a wide input voltage range of 85-264 VAC, are overload, short-circuit and overvoltage protected and have single output voltages of 12V and 24V. Special output voltages are possible on demand.
The low power consumption of 0.15W and the efficiency of 87% making the family particularly suitable for tasks with high demands on low energy consumption.
The devices are meeting the safety standards of EN/ IEC/ UL 62368-1 for audio-, video-, IT and telecommunications technology, EN55032 (radiation) and EN61000-3-2/ EN610003-3 (harmonics). The space requirement is 3" x 2" with a height of less than 1" (76.2 x 50.8 x 23.6 mm).
The power supplies can be obtained either as an open frame or as a PCB-mountable variant.
