Magic Power Technology GmbH, together with its sales partner TRS-STAR GmbH is presenting the new MPE-J020 power supply series for application with high thermal requirements. These small power packs have an output power of 25W up to an ambient temperature of +50°C. With appropriate derating (0.8 at TA = +70°C) the parts can be used up to TA = +80°C without additional fan cooling.
All devices have a wide input voltage range of 85-264 VAC and are overload, short-circuit and overvoltage protected. Available single output voltages are 5, 12, 24 and 48V. Customer-specific variants are also possible on request. The efficiency is 90% and the no-load input power below 0.3W.
The parts complying to the latest safety standards of EN/ IEC/ UL 62368-1 for audio, video, IT and telecommunication technology and the EMC standards of EN55032 (radiated emissions) and EN61000-3-2/ EN61000-3-3 (harmonics).
The dimensions are 2.5" x 2" with a height of less than 1" (63.5 x 50.8 x 24.6 mm). For installation, Magic Power offering either a standard open frame or a PCB-mountable version.
