EIC Semiconductor, a leading manufacturer of diodes and circuit protection devices and worldwide distribution partner of TRS-STAR GmbH based in Stutensee, Germany, has expanded its family of automotive-qualified low-loss high voltage rectifier diodes introducing the new QHURO80 in a DO-15 case.
The part has the capability to handle 8kV repetitive peak reverse voltage and a maximum average forward current of 150mA at an ambient temperature TA of 50°C. At 25°C the typical forward voltage drop is 12V and the reverse recovery time is 0.3µs (100mA forward current).
With this new member of its high voltage diode family EIC shows his expertise in manufacturing high quality diodes for application with high demands concerning reliability and safety.
Typical target application are automotive and industrial ignition and fuel injection systems, microwave ovens, inverter circuits or general surge absorption tasks.
