At TRS-STAR, the DiaMo Kiosk System is available from ELCOM. This computer system consists of a comfortable 19 "touch screen monitor in combination with a biometric signature field, which fits into a compact IP65-certified housing.
First the system addresses production companies from a wide variety of industries, and with its innovative concept offers unique opportunities to digitize processes and thus make them more transparent, secure and efficient. It is excellently suited for tasks in production, in quality management, in warehouse management, for diagnostic purposes as well as for tasks in monitoring and controlling.
The 19-inch touchscreen has a resolution of 1440x900 pixels and is suitable for 10-finger multi-touch. This allows files to be edited directly during the production process. Even documents such as blueprints and technical drawings can always be viewed in the appropriate size using the pinch-to-zoom function.
Integrated card readers facilitate the quick and accurate authentication of employees, the processing of documents with AutoFill data, as well as the signing with digital signatures - if required also with the help of biometric verification. Falsifications of signatures are almost impossible. Information can be electronically distributed with this Kiosk using Ethernet, Bluetooth and Wifi, as well as printed on the device. This print-out is detected by an integrated sensor and indicated to prevent sensitive data from being forgotten in the printer.
The core of this system is a powerful, yet economical, Intel Celeron J1900 quad-core processor running at 1.99 GHz. The power consumption of low 25W, allows the device to operate with a passive cooling system in order to provide for virtually noiseless operation.
The standard version comes with 2 GB of RAM, which can be extended up to 8GB, 500 GB HDD respectively 64 GB SSD, as well as 2x LAN, 2x USB 2.0 and 1x USB 3.0. Also included is a batteryless stylus pen with 1024 pressure levels and a resolution of 2540 LPI.
Industrial interfaces, additional HDMI / VGA connections for additional monitors, as well as camera and microphone are optionally available. The touch screen is protected by a tempered glass against scratching. Upon customer request, it is possible to apply antibacterial or low-reflection coatings. If this is not enough, vandalproof glass can be used.
In order to ensure a seamless integration into a company, besides extensive options for custom configuration of the hardware, it is also possible to adapt the look and feel of the device in many ways to the corporate identity of the customer.
