The MCF5222x / MCF5223x family of MCU give product designers a
cost-effective, full-featured solution with USB-OTG or alternatively a compact
ETHERNET-enabled platform that allows them to create next-generation systems
quickly and efficiently. Using the popular Version 2 ColdFire Core the device
offers up to 76 MIPS (Dhrystone 2.1) at 80 MHz. The MCF5222x microcontrollers
are ideal for embedded control applications such as home/factory automation,
point-of-sale, health care, testing equipment and consumer applications. The
MCF5223x microcontrollers allow for cost-effective network applications and
remote data collection with security encryption.
